Caer Drewyn, Dee Valley, and its environs and other Hillforts
June 28 @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Friday 28th June 2019, Dr. Ian Brown of the University of Oxford will give a talk entitled ‘Caer Drewyn, Dee Valley, and its environs and other hillforts’. Ian has twice led walk-talks up Caer Drewyn for Friends of the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley. The 1st was washed out by the weather, but last year quite a few of us accompanied Ian up Caer Drewyn, near Corwen and enjoyed his explanation of what was known about this early Iron Age construction This talk will give an opportunity for those who were not able to join that walk to hear all the latest research on this hill fort and Hillforts in general.
