What We Do

Plas Newydd Garden Project:

Together with the Welsh Historic Garden Trust, Friends are sponsoring the restoration of an area of the Ladies of Llangollen formal garden at Plas Newydd, Llangollen.

Viewpoint Project:

We have been documenting viewpoints, which range from remote places in the hills to views accessible by car. If you have any viewpoints in the area please contact us via hello@friends.cymru . Click here to view some of the viewpoints and walks.

Aircraft Crash Sites:

Friends of the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley would like to increase the awareness of aircraft sites within the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A talk and site visits have already been arranged and it is hoped that we will be able to commemorate the site of certain crash sites on the ground in the future.

Caring for the Landscape:

Friends have completed a number of litter picks to help keep this landscape special. If you know of an area that could do with a litter pick or would like to come along and help, please do get in touch hello@friends.cymru
